We have come to that time of year when all we do is to celebrate for having a successful year. It is also the time of the year when one of the biggest carnival festivals in Nigeria and Africa at large, the Calabar Carnival hits the grand stage as usual.

Calabar Carnival is a very big event in Nigeria that attracts millions of people from different countries around the world. It holds annually in Calabar in Cross River State, Nigeria. The 2017 carnival will span from 1st of December, 2017 to the 31st of December, 2017.

about the debuting FACE OF EDIYE which is part of the programs for the 2017 Calabar Carnival Festival.

Face of Ediye 2017

Face of Ediye is an online contest which is a new initiation from the organizers of the Calabar Carnival. "Ediye" means beautiful in Efik and it is a celebration of tradition and culture. Face of Ediye has been unveiled as a carnival icon and is designed further enrich reveler's experiences, showcase the natural beauty, heritage and elegance at the annual carnival.
